Ecological Urbanism and Alternative Approaches for Urban Sustainability (in different contexts) – 2016 – 2017

The goal of this research is to propose an alternative framework in the Urban-architectural Field, for the analysis, planning and proposal of environmentally sound Urban Sustainability strategies and its design in different contexts, linking qualitative and quantitative approaches from the Urban Ecology perspectives, focused on Colombian urban regions.

For this, it was developed a research stay in the Unit of Urban Ecology of the Institute of Geography of the University of Leipzig In Germany, as visiting research fellow, thanks to a research scholarship by the DAAD.
